Sprague Pest Solutions is pleased to announce Chance Hudnall has been awarded the Pest Management FoundationSprague Pest Solutions Endowment Scholarship for the 2025 – 2026 academic year. This $1,000 scholarship is part of Sprague’s commitment to fostering the next generation of professionals in pest management.
Hudnall, a graduate student in the Ashbrook Urban Entomology Lab at Louisiana State University, has a strong personal connection to the pest management industry as the son of Sprague’s Regional Sales Manager, Lance Gray. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science at Oregon State University, where his research focused on aphid and moth pest monitoring in grass seed systems. His graduate research centers on the challenges urban pest management professional face in managing disease vectors in the southeastern U.S. and developing sustainable solutions to address these issues.
Established in 2022, the Endowed Scholarship Program is part of the Pest Management Foundation’s mission to support and develop future leaders in pest management. This scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students who demonstrate a passion for disciplines such as urban entomology, rodentology, or biological sciences.
