Sprague Pest Solutions is excited to share that Micheal Hempstead has been promoted to Operations Manager for the Pasco, Washington team.
Hempstead joined Sprague in 2020 as a Route Manager and was a key part of the Pasco team earning the coveted Branch of the Year award in 2023. He has spent the last several years building a deep understanding of the unique pest management needs in Eastern Washington.
During his time in the field, Hempstead worked with some of Sprague’s largest food processing and grain storage facilities in the Tri Cities area, gaining valuable experience protecting the region’s food supply. His route work took him across Walla Walla, Waitsburg, and Burbank, where he also serviced wineries, farms, and agricultural facilities.
Before joining Sprague, he worked as an assistant manager at an outdoorsman store, where he honed his leadership and customer service skills.
Hempstead steps into his role at an exciting time for the Pasco branch, which experienced a leadership transition at the end of last year with the appointment of Branch Manager, Brent Schafer, ACE. He will join a fresh, motivated team that’s hungry for growth and with plenty of opportunities ahead. Hempstead will play a key role in helping the branch expand its reach and strengthen client relationships.
“We are incredible proud to see Micheal step into this leadership role,” said Jared Wallace, Regional Manager. “His hands-on experience with our clients, his relationship with the team, and his dedication to delivering uncompromising service makes him a perfect fit.”
Sprague is committed to creating meaningful career growth for employees at every level of the organization. Hempstead’s promotion marks the second Operations Manager to be promoted from within the organization this year.
